Pouzor bcc488993d feat: per-service status checks with offline colouring
Adds optional live status checking per service (not just per node),
requested as a follow-up to issue #196.

Backend:
- New check_service / check_services: HTTP(S) GET for web services, TCP
connect otherwise; UDP and port-less non-web services stay 'unknown'.
- New scheduler job 'service_checks', independent interval (default 300s),
  added/removed live via set_service_checks_enabled.
- Settings gain service_check_enabled + service_check_interval (>=30s),
persisted to scan_config.json. New WS message type 'service_status'.

Frontend:
- Live per-service status overlay in canvasStore (not persisted, so it
never round-trips through canvas save), fed by the WS message.
- DetailPanel + canvas node service rows: offline service turns red
(#f85149), otherwise keeps its category colour.
- SettingsModal: toggle + interval input (default 300s / 5 min).

Off by default — no behaviour change until enabled.

Pouzor 062a08f116 fix(alignment): only snap top-level dragged nodes
Code review flagged silent corruption when dragging a mixed selection
of a parent + one of its children: the child's ids stayed in
pendingSnap even though nodeBox excluded it from the bbox. On drag
stop we shifted the child's parent-relative position by the same delta
the parent already moves by — double-snapping the child off-screen.

Restrict the pendingSnap id set to nodes that contributed a box
(top-level only). Children follow their parent's move automatically;
no extra shift is needed.

Pouzor 5e9963db4d refactor(alignment): defer snap to drag stop, stabilise callback deps
Code review flagged a drag race + deps issues:

- Race: setNodes during onNodeDrag fights React Flow's internal drag
handler, which derives positions from the cursor offset captured at
drag start. Snap delta could be overwritten on the next frame.
- Deps: useCallback closed over guides.length, causing recreation on
every guide change and pulling stale references into onNodeDrag.

Fix: compute guides live during drag for visual feedback, store the
pending snap delta in a ref, and apply it via setNodes only on
onNodeDragStop. Replace the guides.length dep with a ref mirror updated
via useEffect (not during render).

Pouzor 82203f67d8 fix(alignment): use OnNodeDrag (NodeDragHandler doesn't exist in @xyflow/react)
CI build failed with TS2305: NodeDragHandler is not exported. Local
typecheck missed it because tsc-noEmit is more permissive than tsc -b.

Use the exported OnNodeDrag<NodeType> type and alias it with our
NodeData so the callback params are inferred (no implicit any).

Pouzor 004a8f19c1 feat(canvas): alignment guides + snap while dragging nodes
Draw.io / Figma style: while dragging a node, show dashed cyan guide
lines when its edges (left / center / right / top / middle / bottom)
align with another node's, and snap the position to the matched line
within a configurable threshold.

- utils/alignment.ts: pure snap math, returns delta + guide segments.
Same-size boxes show all aligned guides simultaneously.
- canvas/AlignmentGuides.tsx: SVG overlay locked to the React Flow
  viewport (panned/zoomed correctly).
- hooks/useAlignmentGuides.ts: wires onNodeDrag/onNodeDragStop, applies
snap via setNodes, listens for Alt to temporarily disable.
- utils/alignmentSettings.ts: localStorage-backed prefs (enabled,
threshold 2-16px) with a tiny CustomEvent pub-sub so the SettingsPanel
and the drag hook stay in sync without a global store.
- Sidebar settings panel: toggle + threshold slider.

Multi-selection drag uses the union bounding box. Children with
parentId are skipped for v1 to avoid mixing absolute and parent-relative
coordinates. Hold Alt to escape snap.

Pouzor 0a72f9be67 test: add tests for useStatusPolling hook and Sidebar component
- 12 tests for useStatusPolling: WebSocket lifecycle, auth guards,
message routing (status/scan_device_found), error resilience, cleanup
- 21 tests for Sidebar: render, collapse/expand, node stats, action
callbacks, view navigation, scan trigger, settings panel toggle

Pouzor e14a9e87aa fix: stop exposing JWT in WebSocket URL query param
Token was visible in server logs, browser history, and proxy access logs.
Backend now accepts the connection first, then validates a JSON auth
message {"token": "<jwt>"} sent by the client on open before adding
the socket to the active connections pool.

Pouzor e5d7260696 fix: resolve WebSocket failure and crypto.randomUUID crash on HTTP/LXC
- Replace crypto.randomUUID() with a polyfill (generateUUID) that falls
back to crypto.getRandomValues or Math.random — fixes crash on HTTP
non-secure contexts where randomUUID is unavailable
- Fix WebSocket URL hardcoding port 8000 — use window.location.host so
connections go through Nginx proxy in Docker/LXC instead of bypassing it
- Add /api/v1/status/ws/ location block in nginx.conf with WebSocket
upgrade headers (must precede /api/ to avoid missing Upgrade header)

Pouzor 7ba5e888b4 feat: add standalone (frontend-only) mode via VITE_STANDALONE build flag
- App.tsx: bypass auth gate, swap canvas save/load to localStorage
- Sidebar.tsx: hide scan views and Scan Network button
- useStatusPolling.ts: skip WebSocket connection
- Dockerfile.frontend: accept VITE_STANDALONE build arg
- docker-publish.yml: build ghcr.io/pouzor/homelable-frontend-standalone image
- docker-compose.standalone.yml: frontend-only compose file
- install.sh: add --standalone flag

Usage:
  curl -fsSL .../install.sh | bash -s -- --standalone
cd homelable && docker compose up -d

Pouzor dbfc8a2a32 security: fix C3, C1 and H1
C3 - config.yml contains credentials, remove from git tracking:
  - Add backend/config.yml to .gitignore
  - git rm --cached to untrack it
  - Add backend/config.yml.example with instructions

C1 - SECRET_KEY must come from .env, no unsafe default:
  - Remove hardcoded "change_me_in_production" default from config.py
  - App now fails to start if SECRET_KEY is not set (pydantic required field)
  - Generate real random key in backend/.env (gitignored)
  - Add backend/.env.example for new contributors

H1 - WebSocket /ws/status was unauthenticated:
  - Backend: require ?token= query param, validate via decode_token(),
close with code 1008 (Policy Violation) if missing or invalid
  - Frontend: append ?token=<jwt> to WebSocket URL

Pouzor bec699ba93 feat: non-blocking scan with progressive device discovery
Backend:
- asyncio.to_thread(_nmap_scan) — nmap no longer blocks the event loop
- Commit each discovered device immediately (previously one bulk commit at end)
- Update ScanRun.devices_found after each device so history panel shows live count
- broadcast_scan_update() pushes {type: scan_device_found} WS event per device
- Refactor broadcast_status to shared _broadcast() helper, adds type: "status" field

Frontend:
- useStatusPolling handles both WS message types (status / scan_device_found)
- canvasStore: scanEventTs + notifyScanDeviceFound() action
- PendingDevicesPanel auto-refreshes when WS scan event is received
